Teaching Trip to Africa

Namikango Mission is in a rural setting 32 miles north of Blantyre. It is a beautiful place. Here church leaders visit during a break between meetings.

The main missionary house was once the estate house on the farm run by a British colonial. It was made into a duplex for two missionary families.

During my working visits to Malawi I stayed in this nearby guest house.

Lendal and Peggy Wilks have worked 34 years in Malawi. They partnered with Ruth and me for 11 of those years. I never had more congenial coworkers. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them again.
The Wilkses often take a walk around the 90-acre mission in the late afternoon.
I had most of my meals at this table with Lendal and Peggy as we discussed the day's work and other things. More good fellowship.
