Topics will include the goal of Christian counseling, the status of faith-based counseling in Texas, foundation principles in counseling, use of the Bible, listening below the surface, understanding and dealing with chemical dependency, counseling situations of abuse and family violence, anger management, marriage and divorce counseling, recovery issues, general components for successful counseling, ethical and legal standards.
