Your Image of God Creates You
In this course we will explore how our understanding of God profoundly shapes our identity, relationships, emotions, spiritual life, and daily choices. The course centers on God’s self-revelation in Exodus 34, where He declares His own character and name. Together, we will examine how distorted views of God often lead to distorted ways of living, while seeing God as He truly is—perfectly imaged in the person of Jesus—transforms us into people of love, peace, grace, truth, and trust. Through Scripture, discussion, and practical reflection, participants will be invited to deepen their relationship with God and discover how becoming rooted in His Christlike character gradually reshapes who we become. We will use the bible and reference two books that inspired this course: God Has a Name by John Mark Comer, and The Book of Love by Richard Beck.
